i find it hard to believe people are trying to compare the G2 to an iphone….the G2 is an appaling phone…i could write a list of how many things are wrong with it….it crashes…losses phone numbers…is so complicated that it misses the functions people actually need…buttons are all wrong…screen is so cheap that anything marks it..crap battery life…useless gps…..low resolution when watching youtube…many apps either dont load or dont work…its the worst smart phone ive ever owned…the iphone is a polished product..simple as that…anyone want to buy a G2 ?

I used a full on HSDPA Vodafone connection in Holland and O2 isn’t even close – nowhere near….. My iphone 3G is unbearably slow for 3G even though signal strength says full.

I love the iphone and was thinking of getting one, my Voda phone contract runs out next month, i will have to look into O2’s 3G service, because obviously id wanna use the internet a lot, thanks for the heads up.

Agreed, many of our customers love the T-Mobile Business Customer Care Team, it would be a shame to see them go. Orange and T-Mobile do tend to be the better value for money networks. Our Vodafone and O2 clients tend to choose Voda/O2 for network coverage, it will be interesting to see now who customers choose given the Network coverage for both Orange and T- Mobile networks will vastly improve.

Personally I loathe silicone cases and plastic screen films, my iPhone is in a leather slip case so it’s protected when in my pocket and I’m currently using the G1′ slip case for my Hero for the same purpose.

I don’t want extra layers of plastic over the screens of my phone when I come to use it, they’re not designed for people to vandalise with film.

Had my Hero two wks. I live in a City, Im with O2. Got phone through Mobilephones.co.uk. O2 dont stock this phone. My signal is weak wherever I go. I would be interested to know if signal strengh is a prob for other Hero users. Affraid this phone is already starting to get on my nerves. It wants to do its own thing half the time!. Well i think virgin media is offering better deal than all other mobile companies. 10MB home broadband, 1GB mobile broadband and telephone line for only 20 pounds and i have got the free LAptop with it as well. Here is the link of this offer

Now coming to Vodafone as they are coming up with 14mb speed on mobile broadband then they will be number 1 but as long as it is cheap

Watch out though if you’re considering getting the NC10 package from Vodafone – it only comes with a 3-cell battery unlike the 6 cell version the retail Samsung is packaged with, meaning you will barely get 3 hour’s use unlike the 7+ hours all the reviews rave about and one of the NC10’s strongest selling points. Whilst Vodafone’s website now states it is only a 3-cell battery, they are also misleadingly suggesting that it will last the same time as the 6 cell version at 7 hours+. It therefore isn’t quite as good a deal as first appears.

I have to pay for my broadband so if 3 starting pushing adspam onto my desktop I’ll be switching providers. Advertisers beware, people won’t be happy with this move.
