T-Mobile launches YouTube support site
T-Mobile says it is changing the way customers can find answers to their phone related questions by launching a dedicated YouTube Channel which allows customers to post questions about their phone and receive written and video answers from both T-Mobile’s experts and other customers.
The mobile operator has launched the channel with a set of videos detailing how users of its new G1 handset can unleash the potential of the device. The channel offers blogs, tips, tricks and continually updated short clips on how to use the T-Mobile G1, provided by T-Mobile experts as well as customers.
Brendon Cooling, Head of Online, T-Mobile said Many brands are looking to talk to their customers through social media. Social networking is a huge part of life for many of our customers, so launching a channel on YouTube was the next step in order to ensure our customers get the quality of service they deserve. This doesn’t mean we’re moving away from contact centre-led customer service, but that we’re expanding the ways in which our customers can interact efficiently with T-Mobile. This is all about ensuring a positive customer experience.
