T-Mobile to launch G2 in Jan 09?

Rumours are sweeping the web of a second T-Mobile phone powered by the Android operating system which could be released as early as next month.

According to a number of mobile sites, the rumoured G2 phone would include a number of new features including video capture but also see T-Mobile and manufacturer HTC ditch the G1’s physical keyboard.

T-Mobile launched the exclusive G1 in October, prompting many to dismiss the possibility of a second device so soon.
